Indoor Dog Parks Near Calgary & Daycare Alternatives

Looking for an indoor dog park around Calgary when winter makes outdoor plans difficult? Start by checking the type of access: an owner-attended park and a supervised daycare are different services. Below is a verified indoor park outside Calgary, in Tsuut’ina, followed by two daycare alternatives within Calgary. Venue pages were checked on 11 September 2026; review their current admission rules before travelling.

Petfinity: an indoor dog park in Tsuut’ina

Petfinity's indoor dog park offers an enclosed play space and a walking path around the park, with both on-leash and off-leash areas described on its website. Its official address is 103-11501 Buffalo Run Blvd, Tsuut’ina AB T3T 0E4. It is outside Calgary, in Tsuut’ina — not a park inside Calgary city limits.

The park page lists proof of DAPP, rabies and Bordetella vaccinations as entry requirements. Read the venue's current policies for your dog's eligibility, admission arrangements and any private-space options; do not assume a park visit works like a daycare booking.

Indoor daycare alternatives in Calgary

These are supervised care services, not public indoor dog parks where owners arrive to play alongside their dogs. Both facilities also include outdoor time, so check the day's arrangements rather than expecting an entirely indoor visit.

Chasin’ Tails — Centre Avenue E

Chasin’ Tails, at 2309 Centre Avenue E, Calgary, offers supervised daycare with indoor and outdoor play. Dogs in its Free Play programme are assessed on their first day. The published policy includes vaccination and spay/neuter requirements. Although that page says appointments are not necessary, registration and assessment conditions still apply: this is care for your dog, not a drop-in park visit together.

Central Bark — Sunalta

Central Bark Doggy Daycare & Grooming Spaw, at 2004 10 Avenue Southwest, Calgary, offers daycare with indoor rooms and outdoor breaks. Reservations are required, with no walk-ins; new clients are asked to create a profile to receive available dates. Check its daycare FAQ for vaccination, assessment and spay/neuter policies before arranging care.

Indoor exercise and enrichment options for dogs

A group setting is not the only option. At home, short play sessions and food-search games can add variety to the day. If you prefer structured activities, ask a local trainer about indoor scent work, trick classes or private lessons, and confirm that a suitable session is actually available before making plans.

What to check before you go

  • Whether you stay with your dog or leave them in supervised care.
  • The exact address: a facility marketed to Calgary may be in a neighbouring community.
  • Admission, registration, assessment and vaccination requirements for that specific venue.
  • How play groups are organised and whether your dog is suitable for the setting.
  • Current availability, prices and the balance of indoor and outdoor time.

Indoor dog portraits with our at-home studio

Winter also suits Tippy Taps Lab's mobile at-home studio: seamless backdrops, warm light and zero frozen paws. Once your dog's exercise plan is sorted, a mobile dog photoshoot at home keeps the portrait session indoors and familiar.
